Abstractors and Examiners - Be an advocate for your industry!
Joining an organization that focuses on the needs and concerns of boots-on-the-ground examiners can provide an opportunity to solidify your place in the industry and to give your abstracting community a voice. The National Association of Land Title Examiners and Abstractors (NALTEA), was formed with us in mind. As an organization NALTEA is focused on the spread of information and education about our industry. Its’ members share the same dedication, enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment to a brighter future, that you do. NALTEA’s goals are to unite a multi-faceted base of local examiners to legitimize our profession in the real estate title sphere. We strive to provide a community for examiners to share ideas and to supply education opportunities to those involved in the business. We are seeking members who can provide strong voices, leadership and hardened experience that will help shape the present and future of local examiners.

Letters to the Editor of the NALTEA Newsletter
Please voice your comments, opinions, and suggestions to the board of directors through a letter to the editor.
We will get a response from the board and publish them signed only by your first initial of your first name.
If you are thinking it, someone else may be as well. This is a great way to help the membership communicate with the board. Please email them to the editor.
Speaking Engagements
If you are a member of a local abstractor association, or related industry trade group, we would like to see about arranging for a representative from NALTEA to speak at your group's meeting. A NALTEA representative can give a presentation or seminar on a subject of interest to your local organization which would provide information and insight into another area of business.
Our presentations are normally geared towards assisting attendees acquire new business, and be more profitable.

- Creates awareness for the association and seeks moral and financial support from peers
- Promotes membership to both independent and employed abstractors.
- Promotes and maintains the association’s web-site
- Builds relationships with other associations
- Develops speaker bureau to send to other associations
- Submits a monthly article for the newsletter
- Designs and distributes the monthly newsletter
- Maintains social media accounts

- Promoting the NALTEA Certified Abstractor designation
- Advertising NALTEA in widely distributed media
